Alphi on the R.Soar in Leicester

One of the aims of building Alphi was to use as a tender (and for fun) during holidays on Saros, our 58ft. narrow boat.

Aplhi fitted neatly on the roof of Saros and, during August 1998, did the whole Leicester Ring with us surviving many tunnels, low bridges, overhanging branches and other hazards.

Here is Alphi basking in the sun in the very centre of Leicester, a very pleasant place to stop.
